RE: COVID-19 HEALTH SAFETY MANAGEMENT
Dear Valued Customer,
In these uncertain times, we wanted to reach out to you about what we are doing here at Sierra Pacific Warehouse Group to support your business and protect our employees while maintaining the highest levels of food safety. As the situation around novel corona virus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we will continue to be pro-active in our measures to ensure we are taking care of our employees and your product.
As it has always been, food safety and the safety of our team members remains our highest priority. We take great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Our facilities are BRC Certified with Double A Ratings and we continue to adhere to our Good Manufacturing Principles (GMPs) at all our facilities. In response to the corona virus, we have taken additional measures developed with the CDC recommendations to make our cleaning and hygiene protocols even more rigorous:
* Our warehouse and customer service teams are receiving ongoing daily updates and team meetings. * We have increased the frequency of anti-bacterial cleaning of our warehouse and public areas and surfaces (including lobbies, driver check in windows, door handles, public bathrooms, etc.) * We have increased the deployment of antibacterial hand sanitizers and are requiring hand sanitizing by any outside person prior to entering our facility or exchanging documents. * Heightened awareness by management employees to any employee showing symptoms of illness with mandatory requirement to self-quarantine. * Relaxed protocols regarding attendance policies, vacation utilization should an employee need to take an extended leave. * Reduced non-essential travel by employees. * We are developing child-care support to our employees that require it so we keep our staffing at the highest level.
We currently are operating all normal business hours at full strength at all our locations. One of Sierra Pacific’s greatest assets is that we have multiple facilities to draw labor assistance from and that they all operate on a common Warehouse Management System (WMS) which allows us to move employees between facilities. We also have great relationships with multiple Labor Services should the need arise.
If you have any specific questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me for further assistance. We will be updating our website with current developments as they occur at www.spwg.com Sincerely, Chris Murphy CEO, Sierra Pacific Warehouse Group 209-534-1704
